Practical systems & invention studio

Bring us the problem. We’ll build the system around it.

ToolShed maps messy work, builds AI-assisted workflows and prototypes, and trains the people who will operate them — from accounts and curriculum production to calculators, games and creative technology.

The real problem

The work is not broken. The system around it is.

Growing teams accumulate spreadsheets, messages, files, repeated admin and knowledge trapped inside a few people. Buying another random app rarely fixes the underlying circuit.

01

Scattered knowledge

Rules, examples and decisions live across inboxes, chats, documents and memory.

02

Manual drag

The same documents, reports, assets, updates and checks are rebuilt repeatedly.

03

Big ideas, no prototype

Useful concepts remain vague because traditional development feels too expensive or slow.

04

Random AI use

People use isolated prompts without shared context, review rules or a repeatable workflow.

Three ways in

Learn. Fix. Build.

Start at the layer that matches your need. Every engagement should leave behind capability, a working system, reusable IP or measurable operational improvement.

Proof of range

From spreadsheets to synthesizers.

ToolShed does not claim to be the domain expert in every field. We work with the person who knows the domain, extract the rules and rapidly build the machine around that knowledge.

The agent workshop

Not one chatbot. A supervised production line.

We use specialist agents for defined work, with shared files, task boundaries, tests and human approval. The value is not the agent names; it is the circuit connecting knowledge to reliable output.

The ToolShed method

Turn expert knowledge into a working circuit.

The method is the same whether the output is an accounts pipeline, a curriculum factory, a calculator, a game or a creative technology experiment.

01

Map the mess

Find the real inputs, decisions, handoffs, errors and outputs — not merely the official process.

02

Extract the rules

Turn human knowledge into examples, schemas, taxonomies, checks and acceptance criteria.

03

Build the circuit

Connect AI, code, forms, data, files, interfaces and existing tools into a testable flow.

04

Add gates

Validate outputs, surface exceptions and keep the human at the points where judgement matters.

05

Package and transfer

Train the user, document the system, measure the result and define the next decision.

Clear entry points

Start small enough to learn. Serious enough to matter.

Public pricing is coming soon. Larger systems are scoped only after the problem and delivery responsibility are understood.

Straight answers

Before you hand us the mess.

No. The client or collaborator brings domain knowledge. ToolShed specialises in extracting the operating rules and turning them into a practical workflow, prototype, interface or training system.
No. We build supervised systems with explicit access, clear roles, validation checks and human approval where judgement or consequential action is involved.
No. Start with the problem. A workflow diagnosis determines whether the correct answer is training, a dashboard, automation, an AI workflow, a prototype or simply a better process.
Because diagnosis is working time, not a free sales call. When pricing is published, a workflow map, system options and prioritised action plan remain the intended deliverable whether or not ToolShed builds the next stage.
Yes. Warm referrals can receive a private 15-minute qualification link. It is not offered publicly, protecting delivery time from unqualified free-consulting calls.
Potentially. The prototype or diagnosis defines the architecture, boundaries and delivery requirements. Larger builds are accepted only where the engineering, design and implementation capacity are clear.

Give us one painful workflow or one unusual idea.

We will help determine whether it needs a clearer process, practical AI training, a supervised agent circuit or a working prototype.
